These terms govern the use of CueTwin, an online teleprompter provided by Miguel Brandão, in Portugal (“we”). By creating an account or using CueTwin, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
CueTwin lets you write scripts, show them on several screens in real time and move the text with your voice, with fixed-speed scrolling or with a remote. We may improve, change or stop offering features over time.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Connection codes give access to the script being presented: only share them with devices you trust.
3. Plans and payments
- The Free plan has limits (for example, 3 scripts and 1 connected screen at a time).
- The Pro plan costs €4.99 a month or €39 a year, VAT included. Your first subscription includes 7 free days; if you do not cancel before they end, you are charged automatically.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- You can cancel at any time in Plan & billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period already paid; partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.
- If we change prices, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and the change only applies from the next renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
4. Your content
The scripts you write are yours. You only give us the permission needed to store them, sync them and show them on the screens you connect. We do not use your scripts for anything else.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use CueTwin to:
- publish illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- try to access other people’s accounts, sessions or data;
- overload, attack or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell the service without permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Availability
We work to keep CueTwin available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will run without interruptions or errors. Voice following depends on the browser, the microphone and the room, and may not recognise every word. Test before important recordings and always have a plan B (scroll or the remote).
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost recordings, opportunities or revenue resulting from the use of CueTwin. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.
8. Ending
You can stop using CueTwin and delete your account at any time in Settings, or ask us by email at miguellbwork@gmail.com.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will let you know in advance on the website or by email.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For consumer disputes, you can use an alternative dispute resolution body (list at consumidor.gov.pt) or the EU’s consumer redress services.
